Holiday Hacks: Grassy Head Craft Activity
Let your creativity flourish and spend an afternoon getting crafty by making a living grass head!
This fun crafty project is perfect for kids, who will enjoy watching it grow. After a few days, children will have a blast trimming the "hair" into all sorts of funny shapes!

DO >>>
- Spoon the grass seed into the end of the stocking foot (the toe section), then top with 1 cup of potting mix
- Tie a knot in the stocking so it forms a tight ball. Leave the excess fabric as a tail
- Fill your empty yoghurt container halfway with water. Place the head on top of the container, ensuring that the tail section dangles down and is touching the water (to act as a wick and draw the water up to the seeds)
- Attach googly eyes, draw a mouth with a texta, and use your other craft supplies to create clothes and other decorations
- Place your grass head on a window sill, or somewhere that gets lots of sun, and watch it grow!
- In a few days, you'll see the grass seeds start to sprout and you can have fun trimming the "hair" to all sorts of crazy shapes!
