State Committees
Scouts NSW has a number of committees that are responsible for providing advice to the Board of Directors and making decisions within their limited delegated authorities.
These include:
- Health and Safety Committee
- State Asset Committee
- State Finance Committee
Group Committees
Each Scout Group has its own Committee of Management called a Group Committee. This generally consists of parents, adults and carers of youth members who, together, ensure the Leaders of the Group have the resources available to deliver a quality Scouting experience for its members.
The committee is responsible for supporting the delivery of Scouting in the Group, and the management of Group funding, property and equipment. Group Committees normally meet once a month to discuss matters relevant to running the Group, and to maintaining the property and equipment.
